Seniors throughout Peterborough should be able to receive OHIP-funded physiotherapy through long-term-care facilities and retirement homes, says a spokesman for physiotherapy clinics in Ontario.

Tony Melles, executive director of the Designated Physiotherapy Clinics Association, said his organization’s plan would be in line with the province’s goal of keeping people out of hospitals and allowing them to more easily age at home, while providing a needed service to more seniors.
