Seniors who rely on physiotherapy fear forthcoming changes to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan will make it harder to get the treatment they need — a concern amplified by physiotherapists who led a protest at Queen’s Park on Tuesday.

OHIP presently covers up to 100 physiotherapy visits a year in long-term care and retirement homes, but changes that go into effect on August 1 could see that number reduced.
